Not the best photo, but he was pressing against my face and it turned me to mush...meet Alexander!
Court went really well. It is indeed a glorified home study. A really serious one. We just spoke from the heart and let them know (over and over) that we are capable parents. We get custody immediately and got the 10 days waived...basically because the baby home is under construction. Alexander gets freaked out by the drilling and there is dust everywhere, so as great as the 10 days could be for us, I find joy in sparing him from the construction madness.
Court lasted for an hour and Zach was interviewed heavily. It really went well and I look forward to picking up this little guy, even though he's teething, drooling and chewing on his face. Poor kid. We already have his edited b irth certificate. It's very cool.
Here is some Bee exploitation. His clothing is terrible, so no one laugh.

Congratulations Mommy!!!!!!!!
What a great way to celebrate independence day, than by freeing Bee from the baby home.

Yea! Congratulations Ann Marie!!! Alexander is just beautiful!!! Can you believe it's really over? I read your other post about him not eating some stuff - DD hardly ate while we were in Russia - actually she ate a good breakfest and really only nibbled after that. So don't worry - everything is just so new to him - give it some time!

Congratulations, Mommy. He is OH-chin OH-chin OH-chin Kras-see-vee -- which basically means darn cute. Really cute.
And big congrats on the 10 days waiver....that is wonderful news. You must have had the "good" judge (we had the one who never waives it).
Posted by: Rachael | 03 July 2007 at 09:08 PM
Congratulations.. Bee is absolutely darling.. He looks like you too.. I have been checking all the time to hear the good news.. I guess the judge having a vacation put him in a giving mood.. No 10 day wait.. Good luck on the train ride.. It should be an experience..
