After riding the adoption rollercoaster for a few years, my buddy Kate has finally met her daughter. She is currently awaiting a court date. Since our match up as Secret Blog Pals almost 3 years ago, Kate has become a great friend. Her weekly phone calls, whimsical emails and blog comments are highlights in my life. (Really, Kate.) She opened her doors to me and Zach when we were in St. Pete meeting our son, and we are forever grateful. Now that her process is almost done, it's time for me to give back and celebrate this time with her...but she's in Russia...on her own.
